Privacy.
This page is a working draft — the full privacy notice and data-processing terms are being prepared with our advisers and will replace it before ClearPanel onboards schools beyond its pilot programme.
The short version
- Schools are the data controller for their pupils’ information; ClearPanel processes it on their instruction.
- We store the minimum: a pupil’s name, date of birth, and their screening and session record. No photographs, no addresses.
- Data is stored in a UK (London) data centre, encrypted at rest and in transit.
- Access is role-based and enforced at the database level; every meaningful action is recorded in a tamper-proof audit trail.
- We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone other than the school it belongs to.
- Schools can export or delete their data on request at any time.
